Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair.... What’s the Difference?

Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair

What’s the Difference?

Hydrating the Hair- The process of using humectants, proteins, amino acids and critical vitamins that penetrate the hair fiber infusing and improving the absorption of water and nutrients so that the hair holds and retains moisture.

Moisturizing the Hair- The process of using butters and oils to coat the OUTER surface of the hair fiber sealing and locking down the hair shaft so moisture can not get in or out of the fiber.

Simply Put….FIRST you HYDRATE the hair to penetrate, absorb & nourish the hair from within. THEN you seal and lock down the hair shaft with a MOISTURIZER to keep the moisture in the hair.

It's Ok

Two reasons why this product did not get five stars:
#1. The smell, a big turnoff and
#2. I found this product to be a bit on the oily side

Great products and customer service

Great products... happy with them... and they respond quickly to emails... thanx again

Best. Oil. Ever!

My scalp is extremely temperamental. Everything makes it itch. This is the only oil that I could apply directly on my scalp without experiencing any reactions.

BAD HYDRATOR

Was going to email you about the last jar of hydrator I received. The product was not blended well at all, I had to add hot water and
mix it!!! What is going on with this company?

Great product

Entwine products are great for my hair. It leaves it soft, moisturized, and full of shine; not to mention it smells good too.
