Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair.... What’s the Difference?

Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair

What’s the Difference?

Hydrating the Hair- The process of using humectants, proteins, amino acids and critical vitamins that penetrate the hair fiber infusing and improving the absorption of water and nutrients so that the hair holds and retains moisture.

Moisturizing the Hair- The process of using butters and oils to coat the OUTER surface of the hair fiber sealing and locking down the hair shaft so moisture can not get in or out of the fiber.

Simply Put….FIRST you HYDRATE the hair to penetrate, absorb & nourish the hair from within. THEN you seal and lock down the hair shaft with a MOISTURIZER to keep the moisture in the hair.

Best leave in

This leave in conditioner works on so many textures I absolutely love it! Clients are thrilled with it too

I think this is my new goto shampoo

This is minty fresh, tingles, and hair feels clean and yet not stripped of moisture. And it doesn't burn if it gets in my eyes ...

Growth cleanser

You know it's working when your scalp starts tingling! Love it.
