Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair.... What’s the Difference?

Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair

What’s the Difference?

Hydrating the Hair- The process of using humectants, proteins, amino acids and critical vitamins that penetrate the hair fiber infusing and improving the absorption of water and nutrients so that the hair holds and retains moisture.

Moisturizing the Hair- The process of using butters and oils to coat the OUTER surface of the hair fiber sealing and locking down the hair shaft so moisture can not get in or out of the fiber.

Simply Put….FIRST you HYDRATE the hair to penetrate, absorb & nourish the hair from within. THEN you seal and lock down the hair shaft with a MOISTURIZER to keep the moisture in the hair.

Love, love, love

This leave-In is amazing, I’ve been using this for about 3yes now. It’s so moisturizing, and my hair loves it. My daughter and I have went through 3 bottles in the last 2 months. When will you have more?????

The best hair masque.

Great product and will be buying again.

Good

I like this shampoo - but don’t like the smell. I also don’t love that it doesnt give that lather feeling. However, since using this product I feel like my dry scalp has decreased ( I also use the masque ).

Great Purchase

I love my recent purchase and will order again.
