Whether your hair strands are wavy, curly, kinky, S-shaped or Z-shaped, all those curves hinder your scalp's natural oils from reaching the ends of your hair.
Why so Dry?!?
Whether your hair strands are wavy, curly, kinky, S-shaped or Z-shaped, or combinationed; all those curves hinder your scalp's natural oils from reaching the ends of your hair.
Everyone's scalp produces lubricating oils, called sebum. However, the oil has a much more challenging time navigate its way down the zigs and zags, twists and turns of wavy, curly and kinky textured hair fiber.
Without the natural oils coating and lubricating the hair, the fibers become very dry, brittle, dull and more prone to breakage...all the symptoms of a very DRY Life.

Hydrating vs. Moisturizing the Hair
What’s the Difference?
So many people don't know the difference and we use the words interchangeably, but they are very different and our hair pays the price for our miseducation.
Hydrating the Hair- The process of using humectants, proteins, amino acids and critical vitamins that penetrate the hair fiber infusing and improving the absorption of water and nutrients so that the hair holds and retains moisture.
Moisturizing the Hair- The process of using butters and oils to coat the OUTER surface of the hair fiber sealing and locking down the hair shaft so moisture can not get in or out of the fiber.
Simply Put….FIRST you HYDRATE the hair to penetrate, absorb & nourish the hair from within. THEN you seal and lock down the hair shaft with a MOISTURIZER to keep the moisture in the hair.
