I love Entwine, but giving 4 stars instead of 5 because 25 days later, I still haven’t received my products. I emailed a week ago, still no reply. Hopefully this review will cause Entwine to respond & send my product.
I love it. My daughter used it to twist my curls and they look healthy shiny and hydrated with no flakes or dryness. Will be ordering again. A little goes a long way.
My sister recommended the cleanser and I’m loving it. I’ve been using it every wash day since I received it and I look forward to the tingly scalp feeling on wash days. A little goes a long way and it was definitely worth the purchase!
I like the smell and it is a good item for installing braids. Better than using other products but it does nothing for my edges which I was hoping for. It is good and moisturizing and so the one star off is because it doesn't really give any hold or any "firmness" for my hair. It may work with someone whose hair is finer. Mine is 4b around my edges. It went on sleek but was done after a few minutes of just finishing up my make-up. Around my edges my hair just curled back up. I don't trust it for any other sleek style for my hair but I still like it.
The product definitely defines your curls and adds moisture for sure. The one thing I am not a fan of is that it left a layer of wax on my hair that I was unable to just wash out with shampoo. I had to detox my hair to remove it. If it didn't leave the tough wax residue, it would be perfect. Overall, I will use this product for certain styles and closer to when it's time to detox.
I use to wear braids (individuals) and I've been using these two products for a very long time 7 plus years. My hair has really grew. Before I found Entwine I was redoing my braids every 2 months. Now I was finding myself refreshing my braids every 3-4 weeks. I took my braids out because I couldn't keep up with the new growth of my hair.
