Length Retention: The Key to Longer Hair

One of the areas that we struggle with the most in our healthy hair journey is learning how to retain length. It all begins with your healthy hair routine.

  • Do you have one?
  • What steps are you taking on a daily/weekly basis?

  • Are you doing the right techniques?

All of these questions need to be answered for you to maximize your length retention.

1. BULL SHIT INGREDIENTS :-
A lot of us have been sold on utilizing a bunch of ingredients that offer no benefit to our hair strands. They provide a cast over the hair strand to make it "appear shiny, and soft". However, no nutritional value is being embedded in our hair strands to make it look, feel and be better. Some of these ingredients include the infamous "shea butter" and "coconut oil".

After a  a couple of days of consistent styling and going about our day, our hair tends to accumulate "stuff". This stuff includes sebum, oils, products, and random elements from the environment.
